These Terms of Use (referred to as the "Terms" or this "Agreement") outline the legally binding conditions for using our educational courses and services ("Services"). Whether you are a "Visitor" (browsing our website), a "Subscriber" (signed-in user), or a "Learner" (paid participant), you are considered a "User" or "you" under this Agreement.

Please be aware that our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.extentinsights.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy) details how we collect, use, and disclose information. The terms of the Privacy Policy and the Website’s Cookie Policy are incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. Any additional terms, guidelines, or rules linked to this Agreement are also included by reference.

Your Acknowledgement And Acceptance Of Terms Of Use

By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that these Terms of Use, as updated periodically and available at https://www.extentinsights.com, along with our Privacy & Cookie Policy (https://www.extentinsights.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy), constitute a legal agreement between you and Extent Insights.

Extent Insights offers these Services to you, the User, contingent upon your compliance with these Terms of Use and any other agreements you have with Extent Insights.

While we strive to notify you of significant changes to these Terms of Use, you agree that it is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically and stay informed of any updates. Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted and will apply to any disputes arising from that date onward. Your continued use of the Services following any changes to the Terms of Use signifies your acceptance of those changes.

General Restrictions

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old.

You agree not to capture, modify, edit, copy, sell, license, distribute, publish, adapt, reproduce, or reuse any content from the Website or any Services for any public or commercial purposes.

Representation of Identity and Academic Integrity

By signing up for a course with Extent Insights, you affirm that you are the actual individual participating in the course, not someone else. You also confirm that you are using your real and accurate name for your account and all interactions within the Extent Insights platform. You pledge to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, refraining from cheating, plagiarism, or any dishonest behavior such as submitting work that isn't yours, using unauthorized materials during assessments, or impersonating another individual.

Violating this policy may lead to immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any course credits or certificates, at the sole discretion of Extent Insights.

User Account

To engage in most learning activities at Extent Insights, including enrolling in courses featured on our Website, you need a user account ("User Account").

You must be at least 18 years old to create a User Account. If you are under the required age, you may not set up a User Account. Instead, we encourage you to have a parent or guardian create an account and help you enroll in appropriate courses. If we discover that a User Account was created by someone under the required age for consent in their country (for example, 13 in the United States), we will terminate the account.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY USER ACCOUNT CREATED FOR YOU IS OWNED BY Extent Insights, AND YOU HAVE NO OWNERSHIP OR PROPRIETARY INTEREST IN IT. ALL RIGHTS TO THE USER ACCOUNT OR USER PROFILE BELONG TO Extent Insights.

When setting up and maintaining your User Account, you must provide complete, true, and accurate information (including your email address) and keep your personal data up to date. You can correct or update your personal data as needed. For more details on personal data protection, refer to our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for your User Account and any activities that occur under it, including any harm or damage caused by someone using your account with or without your permission. You must keep your password confidential and secure, and inform us immediately if you believe your password has been compromised.

You can request to delete your User Account by emailing our Support Team. Note that deleting your User Account may prevent you from accessing and using the Services, as well as any content you submitted.

Extent Insights does not recognize the transfer of User Accounts or profiles. You cannot give, sell, or transfer your account or any associated rights without the prior written consent of Extent Insights. Any attempt to do so is void.

Course Enrollment

Our instructors grant us the right to offer online courses ("Courses") to our Users and present the Course to those who enroll. The Course content belongs to the instructor and Extent Insights and is not transferred to you upon enrollment.

For this agreement, "Content" includes all intellectual activity and individualization means, such as literary works, texts, lectures, presentations, speeches, computer programs, audio and visual works, trademarks, logos, and any other materials published on the Website and within the Course.

Upon confirming your enrollment and payment of all associated fees, we grant you the right to view the Course via the Website. This license is limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, allowing you to access and view the Course for personal, non-commercial use, according to these Terms of Use and any specific conditions or restrictions.

You are not allowed to download, record, resell, or distribute the Course in any manner. This includes sharing your account information, illegally downloading the Course, recording any part using screen capture or other methods, and sharing the content. You are prohibited from reproducing, redistributing, transmitting, selling, or creating derivative works of the Course. All live lectures are recorded by Extent Insights and are available exclusively to our students through a copyright-protected environment.

We typically provide Users who enroll in a Course with one-year access to the Course recording via their User Account. However, Extent Insights reserves the right to change this term or revoke any license at its discretion.

Changes in Courses

We strive to offer quality Courses, but unforeseen circumstances can occur. We reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel any offered Courses or make changes to the Course agenda. Our Services are subject to the Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability sections below.

Your Participation in a Course

We may allow you to post comments, upload work, and share content in Course groups and on social media. These contributions ("User Comments") are meant to foster discussions. By posting a User Comment, you retain ownership rights but grant us a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free license to use such User Comments.

You are responsible for all User Comments you post. We reserve the right to remove or modify your User Comments for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Use.

When interacting with other Users or instructors, be cautious about sharing personal information. Extent Insights does not control what others do with the information they obtain from you. For your safety, avoid sharing your email or other personal information.

In certain Courses, you may be able to ask questions and post reviews. Instructors may request content submissions as homework or tests. Ensure that all submissions are your own work.

Data Collection and Use

By enrolling in a Course, you agree that we may collect, use, store, and process your personal data to provide you access to the Course and related activities. To receive additional information about our Courses, you may need to provide more personal information. We may share this data with third-party service providers to improve or deliver our Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Fees

Extent Insights offers Courses for a fee. By enrolling in a Course, you agree to the pricing, payment, and billing policies as described on the Website or by any third-party payment service. Upon payment for the Course, you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card (or use other means of payment) for the full fee, either as a single payment or in multiple installments according to an approved payment plan.

You agree to pay all fees or charges incurred in accordance with these Terms of Use and the billing terms effective at the time the fee becomes payable. Payment should be made no later than one day before the Course’s start date unless you are on an approved payment plan.

Completion of a Course entitles you to a certificate, provided all fees are paid. Any outstanding balances must be settled to receive the certificate.

Extent Insights may use third-party providers (such as PayPal, Stripe, or Square) for processing payments. Any additional charges incurred with these third parties or your banking institution are your responsibility. Using an invalid or unauthorized payment method can result in the cancellation of your payment and Course subscription. All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

THE PAYMENT FOR ANY COURSE IS FINAL (SUBJECT TO OUR REFUND POLICY) AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE OR EXCHANGEABLE, INCLUDING UPON TERMINATION OF YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT, AND/OR DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICES DUE TO YOUR VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS OF USE OR OUR OTHER POLICIES.

Refund Policy

Extent Insights provide refunds for courses ONLY in the following cases:

If a course is canceled by Extent Insights, a full refund will be issued.
For courses 4 weeks or more, if you are not satisfied with the Course content within the first 7 days from the start, you may request a full refund. No refunds will be issued after the 7th day.
For all other courses, no refunds will be issued, but you are free to transfer the course to another cohort, or as credit for another course - see Transfer Policy below.

To request a refund, contact our Support Team (support@extentinsights.com) and follow their instructions. Refunds will be processed within 10 working days, though delays may occur if instructions are not followed. Upon approval of a refund, you will be withdrawn from the course, your access to materials terminated, and any uploaded work deleted. Once processed, refunds and access termination are final, and your account cannot be reinstated.

No compensation is provided for dissatisfaction with a bonus course offered in addition to a purchased course. If available, a different bonus course may be chosen. Terms and conditions for the purchased course remain unchanged.

If your account is terminated or access disabled due to a violation of these Terms of Use or other policies, no refund will be issued.

Transfer Policy

In the event of a health or family-related emergency or some other situation that prevents you from attending a course, you may request to move to the next cohort (if available) or another course. No documentation is required to transfer a course.

This transfer option can be used only once.

Conduct Through the Services

You are solely responsible for interactions with other Users, including the Course instructor, both online and offline. Extent Insights is not liable for the conduct of any User.

You agree not to engage in, allow, or be associated with any of the following prohibited activities:

Sharing, distributing, or reproducing any Content in a way inconsistent with the rights provided to you.
Removing copyright, trademark, or other notices related to Extent Insights' intellectual property.
Accessing source or object code through reverse engineering or other means.
Modifying the Website or Services, including creating derivative works.
Creating software that incorporates elements of the Website or Services.
Hacking or compromising the Website or Services.

Extent Insights reserves the right to monitor disputes between Users and instructors and to intervene at its discretion.

Intellectual Property

Extent Insights owns or licenses all rights to the Content available through the Services. You are permitted to use the Content only as authorized by Extent Insights.

Ownership of Your Work

Any work you create during a course is your intellectual property. However, by enrolling, you grant Extent Insights and your course instructor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, display, and share your work for educational purposes. Do not include confidential information in your work.

Consent to Class Recordings

All class sessions are recorded by Extent Insights and made available to students in the same course. By enrolling, you grant permission for these recordings to be used and distributed during and after your enrollment.

Your Restrictions

You agree not to engage in the following activities:

Marketing, sharing, or reproducing any Content or Services in a manner inconsistent with Extent Insights' rights.
Attempting to access source or object code through reverse engineering.
Modifying the Website or Services, including creating derivative works.
Creating software that incorporates elements of the Website or Services.
Hacking or compromising the Website or Services.

Rights Relating to Your Submitted Content

If you submit content (including User Comments), you are deemed the owner. You must ensure it does not infringe on third-party rights and indemnify Extent Insights against any claims.

Extent Insights does not claim ownership of your submitted content but may use it as necessary for the operation of the Services. By submitting content, you grant Extent Insights a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for various purposes, including marketing and promotional use.

Unsolicited ideas or suggestions submitted via the Services are non-confidential and non-proprietary. Extent Insights may use these ideas without compensation to you.

Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer

Extent Insights and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, stockholders, employees, licensors, distributors, sublicensees, agents, or subcontractors (collectively, the “Extent Insights Parties”) will do our utmost to ensure that the availability of the Services will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the internet, this cannot be guaranteed.

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. ALL MATERIALS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THE WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT (A) OUR SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (B) THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (C) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE EFFECTIVE, ACCURATE, OR RELIABLE, AND/OR (D) THE QUALITY OF ANY SERVICES OR INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR BE FREE FROM MISTAKES, ERRORS, OR DEFECTS.

WE DO NOT REVIEW OR EDIT THE CONTENT OF OUR INSTRUCTORS’ COURSES FOR LEGAL OR OTHER ISSUES. WE DO NOT EXERCISE ANY EDITORIAL CONTROL OVER THE COURSES THAT ARE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE AND, AS SUCH, DO NOT GUARANTEE IN ANY MANNER THE RELIABILITY, VALIDITY, ACCURACY, OR TRUTHFULNESS OF THE COURSES. WE DO NOT HIRE OR EMPLOY INSTRUCTORS, NOR ARE WE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INTERACTIONS BETWEEN INSTRUCTORS AND USERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE COURSE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DISPUTES, CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND THAT MIGHT ARISE OUT OF OR RELATE TO THE CONDUCT OF INSTRUCTORS OR USERS.

BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU MAY BE EXPOSED TO CONTENT THAT YOU CONSIDER OFFENSIVE, INDECENT, OR OBJECTIONABLE. THE EXTENT INSIGHTS PARTIES HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP SUCH CONTENT FROM YOU AND NO LIABILITY FOR YOUR ACCESS OR ENROLMENT IN ANY COURSE, TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Extent Insights MAKES NO COMMITMENT TO UPDATE ITS SERVICES. WE HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR THE DELETION OR FAILURE TO STORE ANY DATA OR OTHER CONTENT MAINTAINED OR UPLOADED BY THE SERVICE. Extent Insights RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE USER ACCOUNTS THAT ARE INACTIVE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY, THE SERVICE (OR ANY PART THEREOF) WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE. YOU AGREE THAT WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY MODIFICATION, SUSPENSION, OR DISCONTINUANCE OF THE SERVICE.

THE DISCLAIMERS OF LIABILITY CONTAINED IN THIS SECTION APPLY TO ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY CAUSED BY ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION, COMPUTER VIRUS, COMMUNICATION LINE FAILURE, THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORTIOUS BEHAVIOR, NEGLIGENCE, OR UNDER ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE EXTENT INSIGHTS PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, COMPENSATORY, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, UNINTENTIONAL DAMAGE (INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOST DATA), AND/OR DAMAGE TO YOUR BUSINESS REPUTATION, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE OR DATA, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICES.

BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, IN SUCH STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, THE LIABILITY OF THE EXTENT INSIGHTS PARTIES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You fully accept the risks associated with your use of the Services. You acknowledge and agree that your exclusive remedy for any dispute with Extent Insights Parties is to stop using the services. You further agree that in no case shall any liability of the Extent Insights parties towards you exceed the amount, if any, that you paid for the services giving rise to any such liability.

You agree that any claim you may have arising out of or related to your relationship with Extent Insights must be filed within one year after such claim arose; otherwise, your claim is permanently barred.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Extent Insights Parties harmless from all liabilities, claims, losses, costs, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, that arise from:

Your use of, or activities in connection with the Services, or those of any under-age person authorized by you;
Any violation of this Agreement by you or any under-age person authorized by you; or
Any allegation that any content that you made available via the Services infringes or otherwise violates the copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or other intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Extent Insights reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with Extent Insights in asserting any available defenses.

Third Party Websites

The Services may link you to other websites or otherwise include references to information, materials, and/or services provided by other parties. These other websites and parties are not under Extent Insights’ control, and you acknowledge that Extent Insights is not responsible for the accuracy, copyright compliance, legality, decency, or any other aspect of the content of such websites, and nor is Extent Insights responsible for errors or omissions in any references to other parties or their products and services. The inclusion of such a link or reference is provided merely as a convenience and does not imply endorsement of, opinion of, or association with the website or party by us, or any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied.

Our Services may, at some point, include advertisements which may be targeted to the content or information on the Services, queries made through the Services, or from other information. The types and extent of advertisements on the Services are also subject to change over time. In consideration of our providing you with the Services, you agree that we and our third-party providers and partners may place advertisements on our Services or in connection with the display of content or information on our Services. The manner, mode, and extent of such advertising and promotions are subject to change without specific notice to you.

You may also review our Privacy Policy which explains the procedures that we conduct with respect to advertisements on our Services.

Suspension and Termination of the Services

Although it is Extent Insights' intention for the Services to be available as much as possible, there will be occasions when the Services may be interrupted, including, without limitation, for scheduled maintenance or upgrades, for emergency repairs, or due to failure of telecommunications links and/or equipment.

Extent Insights reserves the right to terminate, suspend, or change any service or feature of the Services at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice to you.

Additionally, Extent Insights may terminate and/or suspend your use of the Services for violation of these Terms of Use or violation of any other policy related to Services (including the policies of affiliates accessible by the Services). Without limiting the foregoing, your access to the Services may be terminated without warning if Extent Insights believes, in its sole discretion, that you are under the age of sixteen (16) years and do not have your parent’s or guardian’s permission to register for and/or access the Services. You agree that Extent Insights shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused, directly or indirectly, by any such termination, suspension, or change and you will have no further access to the services and shall have no right to any refund of any monies paid to Extent Insights.

Technical Support

If you are having a technical problem with the Services, including any Application, you may ask for technical support by writing to support@extentinsights.com. When writing to us, please be sure to tell us which Course(s) you enrolled in. We’ll do our best to help you solve any technical problem, but we don’t warrant, and specifically disclaim, that we will be able to resolve all technical issues.

If You have any complaints, claims, or disputes with regard to the Website and/or the Services, you are hereby instructed to submit such complaint to Extent Insights in writing as soon as is reasonably practicable following the occurrence of the event to which the complaint refers. Complaints may be submitted by email to support@extentinsights.com, with maximum description and details.

Assignment

Extent Insights may assign this Agreement, in whole or in part, at any time. You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense any or all of your rights or obligations under this Agreement without Extent Insights’ express prior written consent.

Governing Law

This Agreement (and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter, including non-contractual disputes, claims, and the arbitration agreement) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the State of California, United States of America.

You shall comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations regarding your use of the Website and the Services. Although the Services may be accessible worldwide, we make no representation that materials on the Services are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the United States of America, and accessing them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Notices

All notices to a party shall be in writing and shall be made either via email or conventional mail. The parties agree that all correspondence relating to this Agreement shall be written in the English language. Notices to Extent Insights must be sent to the attention of Customer Service at support@extentinsights.com, if by email, or to the address below if by conventional mail. Notices to you may be sent to the email or mailing address supplied by you as part of your account or user profile, if any. In addition, we may broadcast notices or messages through the Services to inform you of changes to the Services or other matters of importance, and such broadcasts shall constitute notice to you at the time of sending.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and Extent Insights concerning the subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings of the parties with respect to that subject matter.

No Waiver

If you breach these Terms or any other of our policies and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms of Use.

Severability

If any part of these Terms of Use is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision, and the remainder of these Terms of Use shall continue in effect.

Force Majeure

You hereby acknowledge and agree that Extent Insights shall in no case be liable for any event beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, acts of any government or authority, embargo, revocation of any license or consent, failure of any power supply, theft, malicious damage, acts of war, terrorism, natural disasters, internet outages, and such other force majeure occurrences).

Miscellaneous

Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating any agency, arrangement, partnership, joint venture, trust, or fiduciary relationships, employer-employee relationship, or any other similar relationship between you and Extent Insights.

Nothing contained in this Agreement is in derogation of our right to comply with governmental, court, and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Services or information provided to or gathered by Extent Insights with respect to such use. Any heading, caption, or section title contained herein is inserted only as a matter of convenience and in no way defines or explains any section or provision hereof.
